Time for a Change!

I took some time to look at my Spark page today and realized that it desperately needed some updating! I have met all of the long term goals that I set for myself when I joined Sparks, including running in, and finishing the Chicago Marathon four times, the Cincinatti Flying Pig Marathon, and the Goofy Challenge back to back half and full marathon! I have also completed 3 triathlons this summer and am training for my 1st half iron distance next June. It's hard to believe all of the changes that I see in myself both physically and mentally. I am much tougher and stronger than I ever imagined! It seems so strange to look back to my previous introduction that stated "I only ran when something or someone was on fire!" Now it has become a part of me and what I do. I sure hope that I can keep this up!

    Thank you so much for taking the time to read and comment on my blog. I'm feeling much better after that little "pity party". Got up today at 5:45am and ran an hour on the tread! I feel great and energized (though sleepy when i started).
