Dance for life; Live for Dance
I decided to leave the old text there for context and history. Since I wrote that in 2008 (GAH!) I gained the 65 lbs I lost back. I'm tired of not being able to move. My big old belly gets in the way. My back, knee and hip hurt and I don't want them to hurt anymore. I decided to leave the old text there for context and history. Since I wrote that in 2008 (GAH!) I gained the 65 lbs I lost back. I'm tired of not being able to move. My big old belly gets in the way. My back, knee and hip hurt and I don't want them to hurt anymore. So I'm back to put the spark in my life and get my life back! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello there! For the last year, I have been working with a dietitian but the office is closing and she is moving into a non-weight management position. I have lost 65 lbs so far. My blood pressure is almost normal (119/86). My cholesterol is outstanding. Why am I doing this? Both my mom and dad passed away before they were 60. They were both obese. In May of 2005, I had had enough and decided to start exercising. After several months, I lost 15 lbs. I started working with Allison in November of 2005. I don't want to die before God is ready for me. I'm not ready to go yet. My favorite thing to do is dance. I am a competitive ballroom/latin dancer and am contemplating becoming a professional belly dancer in 2008 by teaching my own classes. I love dance and can't imagine my life with out it.
