Time for a re-vamp! I am a SAHM to two beautiful growing girls (ages 12 & 9) who play sports like nobody's business, am keeper of all of our schedules, wife to a tornado, a graduate student, and an intern. My life gets crazy busy and hectic -- but whose doesn't!!!!!
My resolution last year was "balance and self-care". To say that I didn't quite accomplish that is a complete understatement. In fact, I got lost even further. Further away from balance with a significant increase in stress in my head and heart. I know it won't be easy, but now it's time for me to reclaim my focus on self. It's time to get selfish with time. It's time to be purposeful with the things I choose to do and the people I choose to help. It's time to be mindful about what I put into my body and about how I re-energize my person.
I was going to remove my Boot Camp pictures posted at the left, but I decided to keep them as a reminder of what my body is capable of looking like, and what my mind can help it to achieve. It will take balance in both mind and body to achieve my goals.
