I'm a wife, mom and grandma and I love all those roles. . One of my goals for 2011 was to get back to a comfortable weight.
2011 specific "physical" goals
1. Average 8 hours of sleep and start those 8 hours before 10:30 at night.
2. Get all 5 servings of my fruits and vegetables daily.
3. Exercise 5 days a week.
4. Drink my 8 glasses of water.

Rewards for weight loss in 2011
1. Scales read 160: buy month at the YMCA.
2. Scales read 155: ...

Water walking is a deep water work out so there is no stress on the knee. The pool I go to even has a lift so when I had frozen shoulder I still could work out. Aqua Aerobics is a good cardio workout in the shallower end. The deeper you go the less impact on your joints. Heard that there is Water Zumba too! Check out what your community may offer.
