Here I am

Alright - I am at about the what? Eight month since day one. I really had done so well, once I hit 138 I kind of didn't watch so much. I am now 144. That isn't so bad, so I have decided before it gets out of hand I am coming back to SP!

My Goals:
Unfortunately - I haven't started my program officially until January 1, 2008.

Am trying to stick with it!

My Program:
Trying to maintain with hitting the water goals and being creative with vegetables.

Personal Information:
My name is Joann - I joined this site because I used to be a total stick girl and through marriage - time - and age - I can't consume a whole sheet pizza anymore. So ......... as I kiss goodbye large portions and weekend cocktails I am making better decisions about my food & drink choices. I think before I eat now. I am an average size - but I want to tone everything up.

Other Information:
I am an accountant for a manufacturing company handling predominantly GL and all financials & reporting. I graduated from Seton Hill University in Greensburg a couple years ago.

I am now 33. I have become struck with the reality that I can't down lady locks like a machine gun!

Hi Joann after struggling with weight all my life and succeeding in keeping it off, heavier sometimes that others but never obese, I hit a stage premenopausal in which for 5 years I couldn't loose even one kg, I counted calories but it was tedious.
I am a computer addict so by mid afternoon I know how many calories I ate and how much is left for the evening. I find that most of the food is there in a generic way ( even living in Australia) and I have added 5 or 6 items. I think in my case I have to be completely focused to loose weight not just do a diet and forget about it the rest of the time. The logs make me think twice when I 'm just about to eat something too caloric and sometimes unnecessary and give me ideas about stepping up my workouts. I read the articles, post almost every day, read posts and it's all part of a whole that is my program. I have no idea why others would want to read my log but I have nothing to hide especially from myself. But if you read the postings you will see very valid reasons for not making a log public. I don't think there is a better way, just a bit of extra work until it's all setup.

Hi!
I came across your page and saw that we have something in common...we are both former "stick girls!" My days of eating whatever I want at limitless quantities have passed too since I have 4 kids and hit the 40 year mark :-0
Anyway, hope it's okay that I added you my friend -- thought we can chat and keep other company on our journey!

Cool, I will add you as well! Always nice to have friends with similar goals. Yeah I know.. I hate exercising with my period. And the first day I really can't because I literally get sick. Other than that I still try and get out there though.. Anyway, looks like you are doing well so far also! Keep in touch!

Hi!

A Team email just came back to me from you with no response on it. Was there some sort of tech problem? Or do you just want me to know you received it and have no comment?
