No problem - sometime people become judgmental because your plan isn't what their is. It is what fits you - that is why there are so many plans out there. I know on runner world they wanted to know how often you run. Perhaps a better team to ask major training questions to is Rookie Runners. Coach Nancy is on there - she is a RCAA coach - she tends to be conservative, but I find no fault with that. I pushed the training hard last year after tendon surgery in my foot in January and did 10 halfs in 6 months - not something I would suggest for anyone.
What I have learned is that the most important thing is you learn to listen to your body and do what it tells you to do - slow down or not to run. You know you better than any of us - so take what we say with a grain of salt. 1711 days ago
Sorry about some people not being understanding or questioning of your plan. I have always run 3 days a week - at my age I couldn't deal with back to back day - I admire you being able to run so often. My only suggestion to you on running so often - Please listen to your body not just your schedule. If you feel tired take another day off - it won't kill you and will probably make you a better runner. You don't want injuries - trust me I know about that. Keep on doing what you are doing. 1711 days ago
