Hi John, thanks for reading my 12 worst/best blog. That list has been around so long that I don't know where it originated from but it has been advised by medical doctors, scientists, naturopaths and just about anyone in the food industry who is savvy about organic vs. non-organic produce.
It makes sense too. Your thinner skinned veggies and fruits will have more pesticides in the fruit than the thicker skinned varieties.
