Hey John. I see you are soooo close to your goal. I know you said you had hit a wall but obviously your perseverance broke through that wall and paid off. I am sure it will be any day that you enter that weight that hits your goal.

I wanted to let you know that I am currently 1/2 pound away from my goal and figure that tomorrow morning will be the point I reach my goal.

8 weeks ago today you introduced me to SparkPeople.com and I wanted you to know that while you should take great pride in what you have accomplished that you should also take pride in encouraging and inspiring others. It was your determination and accomplishment on Easter Sunday that drove me to achieve my own goal. While my goal was much smaller than yours was, I still feel so much better than I did. I have more energy and I have been told my mood is better. [What was wrong with my mood? :-)] I also am enjoying the time I am spending with my son when we run together.

I plan on using SparkPeople.com again for my next goal which will be to retain the weight I am currently at while setting fitness strengthing goals.

Thanks again for your inspiration and introducing me to SparkPeople.com.

John,

Thanks for the note the other day. Last week was hard as I was out of town all week and was extremely limited to what I could eat. I just tried to not eat much and I exercised everyday. I realized I am half way there, but I think the second half will be a lot harder than the first half.

I see you are continueing towards your goal. WOW! You are up to 60 pounds gone and only 8 left to reach your goal. That is great!

I would bet you to see who could lose their 8 pounds first but I am scared that you would win.

Hey John. Thanks for the comments on my page and THANKS for turning me on to SparkPeople. You have inspired me to try and lose 10% so I can feel better and keep up with my kids. I realized that they wear me out too fast and I have a hard time keeping up with them when we go running.
