Sorry I haven't been Sparking much lately. At least we are FB friends and I get to keep up with all your fun. I started WW again June 1st. Basically, I'm eating low carb and counting points. No big deal. My goal this month is five workouts with Chalene or Shaun T and 26.2 miles a week on the treadmill. So far...so good. Only week one though. I just want to feel super confident in September when we go to Jamaica again. I say this every year, but this year I mean it!

Sorry about your elbow, but glad it wasn't something awful. Take long walks and eat clean. You'll be fine until it heals. emoticon

I hope the blog was worth waiting for. I was posting a "collage" picture to the page to see how it would show up (not too small), then I deleted the blog. It was in a blink of an eye. I did not anticipate everyone getting an email....

Thanks for commenting on my race report. I am starting to get comfortable with races now. They are fun. June 7 with be my first anniversary of my first race! So I am repeating the Rotary Run, only this time I will do the 10K, not the 5K.

You should sign up for a 5k at least 3 months out, then just start training. Last summer I was doing a run-walk-run training program that helped me go from couch to 5k. If you have been walking, you could do this too. I had walked for 2 years prior to running. Now walking is a form of cross training.

Hopefully, I will get to the ChiTeam tomorrow. If not, next week. DS graduates this weekend, so we are busy with family gatherings and celebrations.

Ciao.

Yummo on the s'mores! A little guilt keeps us more honest than not:)

I put in a long recovery run today, only 5 miles, but it was slow and 60 mins. Then I got out into the garden for about 3 hours. I am good and tired for my DH date tonight.

Happy Holidays and remembrance.

Thanks for checking in.

I was trying something with photos for my next blog. I wanted to make sure it worked before I copy and paste all the photos for my race report. I deleted it, as it was nothing. Sorry about that. My blog is coming soon. Great pictures of my race last Sunday.

I thought for just a sec that I lost my only chiwalker. Glad not. I will write a blog or a post on the workshop. It was incredible. Danny Dreyer has so much positive energy. I learned the proper way to engage the core. I asked for his advice on how to run my half marathon the day following the workshop, since my head was on overload. He was spot on. I ran a really great race, and at the end, my legs were still relaxed-no stiffness, cramping or sore spots. My quads were sore the next day, but it was a good sore. I do have a lot to write, just no time to get it down. SOON.

Good luck training for your emoticon .
