Hey everyone - I found SP back in 2006 and loved it! I had lost about 10 pounds on my own before but it wasn't until the tools and knowledge that I gained from SP that allowed me to really start making some changes.

Hey everyone - I found SP back in 2006 and loved it! I had lost about 10 pounds on my own before but it wasn't until the tools and knowledge that I gained from SP that allowed me to really start making some changes.

My wake-up call was at a doctor's appointment one year after college and I found out how much I really weighed. I was shocked that I was 50 pounds heavier than when I graduated high school. I knew that something had to be done. SP helped me drop to 148 by the end of 2006 - not bad since in April/May of 2005 I was 176.

I went back to school in 2008 for Nursing. I spent the first year and and half of my nursing career with Adults, but now I am loving the world of Pediatric nursing (infants to young adults) and I am so proud to say that I work at a Nationally ranked Children's Hospital. :) Even with all of the positives, nursing is a stressful job. And I like to eat when I am stressed. And bored. And at celebrations. I am sure you get where I am going with this. :)

2013 has been a very difficult year for me in my personal life. A major betrayal and heartbreak threatened to suffocate me. Even though my heart/trust/and faith in humanity are still on the mend, I am slowly emerging as a stronger person. This has been a year of dealing with my demons, running blindly out of my comfort zone, and facing my fears. I am surviving infidelity.

So I'm back a SP to prevent a full blown relapse and to make it to my goal weight (finally). I have full faith that with SP on my side I can make it to the finish line. And so can you.

Thank you so much!!! You are doing a great job too! It's been hard... lol.... but worth it, as, I am sure you understand! We are going to the beach in a month, so this month, my goal is to lose about 15 pounds.... if that's possible without killing myself... haha! But that would take me down to 132 pounds.

Thank you for your encouragement. Weight is so much harder to get off after menopause. My hope for you is that you get down to goal weight...and make a habit of a healthy lifestyle. Blessings.
