Adventures in Semi-Retirement

I have been on SP for about 7 years I think. In that time I lost 20 pounds, maintained it for two years and then gained five pounds per year. Mostly because I went inactive on SparkPeople and fairly inactive in my life. A recent diagnosis of pre diabetes has sent me back to the place where I was initially successful. To do it again. It is frustrating to think I can't wave a magic wand and start my healthy eating at the place I was five years ago but I know what it will take to eventually get ...

1) Exercise at least 45 minutes a day, 6 days a week, as well as walk sufficient steps to total 10,000.
2) Follow healthy eating plan, counting and recording calories, daily. Stick with pre-diabetes plan.

thank you for welcoming me to the LBF team. I'll ponder your thoughts. Much IS out of my hands , but you're right . When I do I can try to fill the binging time with other things.
Me taking time on this site is something I decided to do for my health. Instead of always saying I have too much housework.

It looks likke you travel. I could only dream of so much freedom, but I can go there for a moment through the pictures you've shared.
