Feeling Sparky

Hi! I am determined to track my food, exercise consistently, and lose about 30 pounds :-) It sure is NOT easy at my age, and hypothyroid, but I am quite determined. Never say never, and never quit!

I read over a few of your blogs. I am 64 and have lost about 18 pounds since coming on Spark. This took about 2 years! You mention that you are hypothyroid. Are you on medication for that? If so, should it be increased?
I was put on armour thyroid about 6 months ago and it has made a big difference in a variety of ways.......moods, sleep, energy level, endurance, and less body aches. My weight did go down a couple pounds when first starting on that medication. Now it seems that my metabolism is boosted. I can eat more and not gain weight, although I still have difficulty losing any more.
Really I hit my goal weight, but now unfortunately there is still fat to be pinched, so I am just playing with losing a little more fat and trying to gain muscle.
