It's now or never!!

Hi I am Jody! I have been on every diet there ever was. And with great success. I can always lose weight--my problem is keeping it off. Now that my 7 year old son is having trouble with kids at school calling him fat, I feel it's my duty to undo what all my bad habits have done. Also my father recently found himself with type 2 diabetes, and that is scary for me. I know I need to control my diet. Also my father recently found himself with type 2 diabetes, and that is scary for me. I know I need to control my diet. I don't want to count points, weigh and measure continually, or buy "special" foods. How do naturally thin people eat? I am sick of paying for weightloss group meetings and buying their yucky foods. There has to be a "normal" way to do this. I have alot of information, but how much of it is true? I am ready to do this, and hopefully in a simple way. I know fruits and vegetables are the basis of a healthy diet. I just need to grow from there.

I totally understand your concern. I have a 7 year old boy who is on the bigger side of the growth scale. I worry that my past habits are affecting my kids.
This is a great place for anyone looking to lose weight. Don't forget their sister site www.sparkrecipes.com. It is very helpful finding healthy recipes.
