I'm a 39-year-old Mom of two, who works full-time, mostly at a desk. I gained a lot of weight over my two pregnancies and I've been putting it on (and everyone else first) since 2003.

My Goals:
Find my healthy adult weight!

My ultimate target is 135.

Goal #1 is 199.
Goal #2 is 150 and then I'll just keep going till my body finds it's place.

I'm very excited to see where I can be!

My Program:
I'm calorie counting, staying above 1200 but below 1550.

I exercise 20min (minimum) on the elliptical everyday.

I drink 8+ cups of water every day.



Personal Information:
I'm from Ontario, Canada but moved to Seattle in 2007 with my spouse (he's from Vermont). I love the West Coast!

We have two children together - our son Liam and our daughter Hana.

Other Information:
Right now, I'm reading anything Austen or Vampire - or both.

I work full-time and have my own business on the side - building websites for other small and home businesses (I love it).

I am doing the whole slow and steady wins the race thing. I have been extreme in the past with my workout and diets but it does not last and I get burnt out and gain everything back. So I am just working out 30 minutes 4 to 5 times a week, cutting down on tv time so I spend more time moving, watch what I eat but I do not deprive myself if I want something I have it just in a small amount. I have been losing almost every week sometimes it is 2 sometimes 1 (last week only a 1/2 pound) but I am losing so I am happy. It may take me a year to reach my goal but I did not reach my weight overnight either. When I reach it I want to be able to maintain it.

I was a bit freaked out by the weightgain.... but more by the spiralling out of control feeling. I was eating and I could not seem to stop. I knew I did not want to lose all I'd gained on this journey (I mean gain all I'd lost, lol)

A cry for help turned out to be a grat idea!

I'm back to measuring and logging. I tried to wing it to save time. NOT a good idea when you are stressed. I started adding a little extra to everything.

If you can, send a little prayer my way. I so need it! Thanks.
