GOALS: I want to lose some weight (and KEEP it off) and add some muscles. I'm 5'4" and weigh 145 lbs. I want to learn portion control and find that extra motivation to work hard and stick to a plan.

CHALLENGES: I dislike going to the gym (especially during cold, dark winter mornings), it's hard for me to stick with at-home workout videos, and my husband and I love to cook (it's not always healthy choices).

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: I ran the Indy Mini Marathon in May 2012, the PU Mini in Oct. 2012, and the Disney Princess Run in Feb. 2013. The hardest part for me is staying motivated.

My Goals:
1.) Maintain 135 lbs.

2.) Tone body

3.) Fit (comfortably) into size 8 jeans [DONE!]

4.) Cook healthy meals in bulk on Sundays. Freeze then eat throughout the week.

5.) Complete the Indy Mini-Marathon on May 5, 2012 [DONE! Goal was to finish! Ran it in 2 hours and 38 min. Proud of myself.]

6.) Complete the PU Mini on Oct. 20. Training during wedding planning crunch and honeymoon will be a challenge. [DONE! Walked most of it due to lack of training.]

7.) Complete the Disney Princess Run on Feb. 24, 2013. I'm running as Belle.[DONE! Neat experience, but probably last half marathon. I tried! Sticking to 5Ks from now on.]

8.) Complete 5K with dad and youngest sister by the end of 2013.

My Program:
Pilates, TurboJam and Insanity are my favorite workout videos. I added running back into the mix as I was training for half marathons. Hiking and walking are also my top exercise choices.

I have also tried Yoga and I love swimming.
