Thank you for the recommendation to try other teams. I had tried others, both small personal teams with former co-workers and the men's groups. The challenge is 'activity' and going to some of these teams was like going to a graveyard where comments and topics go to die.
I stuck it out as a part of the San Antonio team (and made it my solo SparkTeam to focus in one area) but it was a different groups in 2011 and participation has waned over the last 4 to 5 months. Being a guy alone in the group made it harder. I was accepted - and even asked to be a leader on the team - but in the end, I needed connections with people who have just a little more in common.
Thank you for your words on my blog and I wish you luck in your journey to a healthier and happier you. 1810 days ago
Thank you for your comments on my blog. It is really difficult to get restarted when I have lost motivation but other than the Spark site I found that reassessing my goals and sticking them up where I see them daily has helped me. I have had a tough time of things lately and the continued support from my family and friends has really been what has spurred me on!
