I am living healthier. I don't always get it right, I don't expect myself to. I know I will slip but when I do I get up and keep going.

This is a lifestyle change. Diets don't work. I am not going to lose the weight, get to goal and then go back to what I was doing before - that is what got me to this point in the first place! What I am going to do is permanently change my eating and exercising habits.

I am exercising - and I'm enjoying it! I'm also prioritising it. It isn't always top of my to do list, I don't always want to do it, but I will find ways to squeeze in a walk, a swim, a bit of time on Wii Fit and or a bit of ST ALMOST every day. It doesn't have to be every day. Some days it just ain't gunna happen - but guess what - that's OK! As long as it gets done MOST days.

I've lost 10kg so far. I've got about another 30 to go. 25% of the way there. I am already feeling so much better and it is always nice to hear people say "You look like you've lost weight" or "You're looking great".

I know the results will likely slow down a little, but as long as day in day out I'm living healthier by eating better and exercising more I'm going to be ahead in the long run and bit by bit I'll slim down.

My Goals:
My primary goal is to live a healthier life. That means eating better and being more active.
I will not be an expectations Nazi. I know that doesn't work for me. I will allow myself to slip without berating myself as long as I get back on track afterwards.

My Program:
Nutrition:
Daily Average - 1300 - 1550 calories

I am allowing myself treats EVERY day!

Exercise:
Target: 2000 calories and/or 300 mins per week

GOYAAM Plan for Febuary:

15 minutes Wii Fit or 30+ minute Walk 6 days a week.

2 Pump Classes per week.

1 Full Swim per week


Plus whatever else I'm inspired to do! :)

Water:
At least 10 glasses per day.

My name is Jo, I live in Mandurah, Western Australia. I'm 32 years old, have been married for 5 years and have a beautiful little boy.

I have struggled with my weight my whole life. I'm taking control back. It is not going to stop me from doing the things I want to do any more.

I'm an Engineer, so being able to monitor, track and trend my progress is perfect for me.

Thank you for your nice comment on my SP page. It sounds like your holiday was festive too and that's a good thing. I have 2# to lose because of all the fun I had and now it's not as fun to lose it, but part of this journey! emoticon Hopefully I can be that emoticon one day if I put my dream into action!!
