My Program:
Eating:

Eating as cleanly as possible. Whole grains, getting enough protein, lots of vegetables and fruits. Fatty fish at least once a week. Natural yogurt, but trying to keep milk to a minimum.

Exercise:

Cardio is, for now, walking. Usually 5k, with the dog. Running has always eluded me but I hope to get there someday. Also have an exercise bike for rainy days.

I took up swimming for the colder months. I aim for more than 1000m per swim.

Strength Training is based on "Smart Girls do Dumbbells", which is a fantastic starter book. I do the "advanced" sets.

Personal Information:
I'm 27 years old, I live in
Mississauga, Ontario with my husband of 6 years. We have an extremely sweet and clever Labrador Retriever, and a cat who might have more food issues than me :)

Oh yes, avocados are absolutely paleo-friendly (i'm mostly just avoiding grains and sugar, and keeping my carbs down to a moderately low level). And avocados are chock full of healthy fats and nutrition while being super-tasty, to boot! Unfortunately I'm kind of allergic to them. :( So I can eat guacamole, because the acid from the lime juice changes the proteins enough that they don't bother me, but I can't just slice up avocados and eat them straight-up anymore.
