Getting Healthy

UPDATE: I've put on 20-25 pounds since losing 60#'s. Feel terrible about myself. Nothing fits as I gave all my "big" clothes away. NEED to get back to gym and walking daily. Why is life getting in the way?? I watch what I eat but without going to the gym like I use to, the weight keeps coming back on.

There was a lot of stress in my life and it seemed like my body was falling apart. Went to my doctor, saw a nutritionist and a friend told me about this website. I LOVE it!! ...

Keeps me responsible as to what I eat. I started logging in August 2012 and have lost 30 pounds by middle of November! My goal is another 20-30 pounds by June 2013 when my son gets married!!

UPDATE: I was at my goal by the time of my son's wedding but have since gone down hill and have put 20-25 pounds back on. NEED TO GET BACK TO GYM 3 DAYS A WEEK AND WALK DAILY!!!

I also recently started walking again and want to continue walking whenever I can fit it in, instead of watching too much tv!

UPDATE: I haven't been walking much. Really no excuse. Haven't been to the gym in I don't know how long. NEED TO GET BACK THERE; WEIGHT IS COMING BACK ON FAST!!

My Program:
I am eating so much better now and feel so much better. I am tracking my food daily and working out at Curves 3 x a week. I need to add some kind of "toning" to my work out program.

Have 2 beautiful adult children; a son who is getting married this June and a daughter, who was married 4 years ago.

They are the loves of my life!

Hoping for grandchildren one of these days!

UPDATE: I am expecting my first grand child, a little girl, Lorelei Rose, around March 22, 2014. My son and daughter-in-law are expecting!!! YAY!!! Can't wait!!!

UPDATE: My daughter and son in law are expecting their first on January 21, 2016!! It's a boy!!!

My granddaughter is almost 17 months now (Sept 2015)

Can't wait for my grandson to arrive in January 2016. Hoping for a healthy delivery and healthy little boy and mother after delievery :)

Other Information:
I am semi-retired; I do watch children a few days a week. Love kids; they are fun and definitely keep you active!

I read when I get a chance; love the sun, so can't wait for summer!
