    Another conquest! I have benign positional vertigo. (Dizzy because of things in my ears) I went to a vestibular therapist and she not only "cured" my vertigo, she also taught me to do the eppy maneuver so I can treat myself. I fell 2 days ago and awoke with severe vertigo. I did the maneuver and cured myself! YaY!!! emoticon

    When I moved to St. Augustine almost 4 years ago, I weighed 246 #s. I am now 190, a loss of 56 #. I did not start SparkPeople at that weight, but that is what I weighed. Although I am starting to show wrinkles and bulges and flabby upper underarms, and will probably have to have a tummy tuck when I finish this journey, I am determined to reach 150#. It does remind me, however, to get with the exercises that address flab and bulge. And, to remember I don't have to loose 14 pounds a week. Actually, 1 to 2 pounds is better, and my body will have more opportunity to adjust at that speed. It also will allow the exercise time to pay off. And, by eating better for longer, I am relearning good habits of eating, exercise, life.
    Although looking in the mirror is painful, it has one advantage. The more loose skin I see, the more weight it verifies I have lost! I actually tucked my blouse into my pants yesterday. For the first time in several years I now have a discernible waist line.
    I so enjoy every person who has been with me on this rewarding, abet difficult, journey! emoticon emoticon
