I've been a SP member for years and had done well until the past year or so. I have back issues and it slowly started bothering me again over the past couple of years. In trying to get it addressed (through Dr appts and physio appts) - it took forever to get to the issue-- a diagnosis of spinal stenosis and Degenerative Disc Disease. Since being so inactive due to pain and loss of interest, and side effects from drugs I'm on - I've gained 100 lbs.

I'm thoroughly disgusted with myself. My clothes don't fit and I refuse to spend the money on a new wardrobe. So that means I have to lose the weight ! All the weight, but I'll start with 50 lbs. Its not only that I have to lose the weight to benefit my back but for the benefit of my Arthritic knee.

I'm planning on a trip to Nfld. next fall, so my goal is to have lost at least 50 lbs by next September. I know my "Why", I just need the help of Sparks to show me the "How".

- to exercise to the best of my ablilty each day
-plan my meals and incorporate all the fruits and vegetables
-lose the weight and become a better me
- take time/make time for myself

My Program:
-track my food daily
-drink 8 glasses of water
-minimum of 10-15 min of exercise daily
-try to think positively
- keep focused on the END RESULT !

Other Information:
I enjoy gardening, the great outdoors, movies, music and occasionally a good book.
