Welcome and Hello Joan
I would like to say to you welcome you to Managing Diabetes Group. I hope you will enjoy being any of the teams on this site. If there is anything I can help with, send me a spark and I will see what I can do.. This site will help you along your journey and the members are wonderful. You get to choose any of the team you would like to join. And I know that and having a positive attitude will go a long way.

THIS IS WHAT I DO TO GET MY MOTIVATION:
1) when you come into Spark, on the right side, at the top,
click on My Spark Points, and spin the wheel.
2) read and posting will help you get points
3) meeting and making friendships do help you along the
way on your journey
4) staying and focusing helps you to stay motivated
5) join any team(s) that you are interested in
6) if you need any help, there are a lot of people that will
help you along the way (even me)
7) and most of all:::: enjoy yourself.

So last night didn't go according to plan, did the world end? I assume not as you woke up today and you send me a msg ;)

Its done, you can't change it so forget about it, I would recommend not hiding it though, when I start hiding stuff I am giving my disease power over me and that's deadly. You did it, own it and then forgive yourself.

If you look back over my past meals you will see some where I had ALOT to eat and i had days where I ate 3000-4000 calories, s*** happens. I learned from it and moved on. Easy? no, but I managed to do it anyways with some of my other skills and things i use. It will be ok I promise you

Great job losing your first pound! To update your ticker, you click "start" on the left of your home page and then click "weigh in" and put this weeks weight. That will automatically update your ticker.

Glad to see you on the NOVA Spark team and hopefully we will see you at the next meet up!
