Life Challenges

I will be logging my food (watching portion sizes and totals (Fats, Carbs and sodium). I said when 2011 started that it would be a year of committment to the Spark Program. I want to get my BMI # down below the OBESITY range. I am now in the OVERWEIGHT group. Woo Hoo, Hope to stay there and keep dropping so I can accomplish losing 5 more pounds. Good morning, JOAN and thank you for noticing and asking. That may be a little misleading about the 3-pound loss. At one time I was up to 290 and then I started to lose some weight. When I started with SPARKPEOPLE I was between 260 and 270. At the beginning of December I was down to 203. Then through the course of December and beginning of January I got up to 209. I believe it was a lot of fluid retention. Because this morning it was 204.8. I log my weight each week and it went up and then it went down. According to my dietician my goal weight is 205 and I am usually within a few pounds of that but this is not easy. I exercise every day and I feel pretty darn good too.

Hi Joan, Thanks so much for remembering me. Of course xmas is just the same here. We are having 7 family to stay over the holiday so will be lots of fun.It's really getting hot here now so we will be doing lots of BBQs and keeping cool1 I've been hopeless on my spark stuff recently as I am waiting on a hip replacement so exercise is an issue and also having a bladder problem too so not just the best . Have had lots of tests but no resolution so far seeing doctor again tomorrow. I hope I can do better next year!
