I'm through being a yoyo!

I've been dieting off and on for 54 years! bet I know every diet known to mankind and I'm tired of it. I've probably lost 3.5 tons over the years and am still 40 pounds overweight. I have a trip planned to England in June 2013 and want to be able to hike and move around without my feet and knees killing me, so here goes: I want to lose 40 pounds by June 1, 2013. I will do this by dieting (lo carb since my skinny husband is pre-diabetic) and uping my exercise. I have signed up for 2 ...

My Program:
I have signed up for 2 exercise classes that meet a total of 3x per week for the month of January and plan to hike 4 miles 3x per week, rain or shine. I have support people to help me with these goals. These goals will change each month.
Weigh everyday. Log my eating choices on Loseit.com daily.

My name is Jo Williams. I'm from Texas in the beautiful Hill Country. My husband and I are RVers and hikers and travel lots! Right now I'm spending Christmas in Port Aransas, Texas. Anyone want to know it is 74 degrees today? Cooling off tonight to the 40's. Brrr!

emoticon Jo for your comment on my blog 'My after-work hike'! I usually hike between 3 and 4 hours. My dream is to one day be able to go hiking for the day, but I am too heavy and my legs get tired quickly!
