Sexy by 30....

I am 30 years old. I am a single mom to 2 beautiful children aged 9 and 11. I work full time and attend school part time. I didn't always struggle with my weight. It wasn't until highschool and after having children that the weight just piled on. 2011 is the year that I started making the change to get the weight off. At my highest I was 221 pds and managed to lose 30 pounds byDec 2011. I wasn't focused with my eating and was all over the place. I am tired of sitting on the sidelines of life ...

At my highest I was 221 pds and managed to lose 30 pounds byDec 2011. I wasn't focused with my eating and was all over the place. I am tired of sitting on the sidelines of life instead of on the field playing. So I have restarted again Jan 2012 at 206. I had gained 10-15 pds back during the holidays. My goal is to lose 50 pounds by July 2012. I know I can do it. I have tried numerous diet plans, but found that I don't stick to them that long. I am sick of this weight gain roller coaster and want to get off the ride for once and for all.... Just trying to count my calories(1200-1500) and I eat Lean Cuisines for lunch and dinner. I am working on drinking at least 64 oz of water. I exercise a min of 5-6 days a week for 30 minutes at Curves and try to get in extra walks when I can or get on the treadmill for 30 min each night.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 50-60 pounds and get down to my goal weight of 155-160 pounds. I am currently a size 16 and would like to get down to an 8/10. I also want to tone my body. I want to be healthy physically, emotional, and spirtually.

My Program:
I am counting calories and staying in my ranges (1200-1500).

I drink 64 oz of water a day minimun.

I exercise min 5-6 days at Curves 30 min on the circuit doing cardio and strength training in addition to getting in a walk 30-60 min most nights of the week outside or on the treadmill.

I eat what I want as long as I track it. I love sweets and chocolate! Lol. I do try to get a few servings of fruits and veggies in per day.

habits are hard to break! I understand! I found a long for running so it became my cardio! If you hate your cardio you're less likely to get up and do it! I also counted calories and tried hard to stay in the range I was given. I started finding healthier versions of things I loved. STarting substituting things here and there. Instead if chips and salsa I would do carrots or celery with salsa! They give you the crunch of the chips without a lot of added flavor to take away from the salsa. Of course salsa is high in sodium so you have to watch it but when I wanted salsa this was a better option! You learn tricks here and there along the way. Ask in a group or on a form, you're bound to get some great stuff!
