I am a single mother of a very active athletic 8 year old boy. I was a former athlete in high school and want to be fit again to enjoy my life with my son! I have already lost 34.7 pounds and am starting to lose my motivation. Looking for support to continue to my goal!

My Goals:
I have a goal of 106.7 lbs to lose. I want to be healthy and shop in normal clothing shops. I want to be able to keep up with my son and play sports with him. I want to have more energy everyday. Find more joy in my life.

My Program:
I am trying to work out 5-6 days a week at the gym at lunch for 45 mins.

Personal Information:
I am from Canada orginally, but have been in South Florida for 23 years. I am a single mom of the smartest most athletic 8 year old boy the world has seen. I love being a mom!

Other Information:
Everything is funny, when it happens to someone else!

the weight gain can be from water from too much sodium, or water in your muscles from a solid workout. Do not be too discouraged. It happens.

Did you meet your goal?

good for you! I'm glad you are out of the boot, and it happens sometimes that we don't get in all the workouts we want. Think about this week instead. How many do you want to get in? I think that the challenge at your building and at the gym are great ideas. What does the cleanse entail? is it a juice cleanse or something else? giving up coffee is good, though, especially if you drink it with cream and sugar...can't remember-do you?

I'm trying to give up added sugars until next Monday. Its my own personal challenge to myself. I can eat natural sugars, but not things that need to be added to foods (or have in the first 5 ingredients on the ingredient list) do you know how hard that is?
I can eat fairly added sugar-free, but then i use ketchup or salad dressing, or yogurt and GAH! there it is! Sugar! it's like my nemesis. but I just have to find a way to hold out til Monday. I have already found that I like the flavour of things better, but I still LOVE my sweet stuff.
