Walking to save lives
In the last four years I have walked in 5 Breast Cancer 3-Day walks totally 300 miles during the events. Training for each event consists of 600-700 miles. During the 2009 season training for the Seattle walk in September I was at my heaviest and really struggled with the hills. In October I joined in a Biggest Loser Contest at a local gym which started my weight loss journey. Training and walking in the San Diego walk in November 2010 was the easiest yet.
