Got your S.O.S. on the huddle board! We haven't met yet, but my husband had his gastric done about 4 years ago. He's lost all he will, because he's not an exerciser, but his diabetes has been brought under control, so no meds. needed. Thank God! I certainly will keep you in my prayers as I know how much of a struggle it is. Just remember, you're not alone, we've all hit those days (and nights!) when things are not able to be just right. That's what the next morning is for-starting over. Even if it's over and over again, do NOT give up, it's not an option! You take care, have a very successful week and we'll see you in the stretches! 1895 days ago
Well a hectic life has kept me from checking in with my SPARK friends! Hope you are happy, healthy, and on target with your goals.
I completed the Casper marathon on June 5th and was a little slower than I predicted due to the heat. All in all it was a good race and I was happy that I set that goal for myself.
I decided I needed to detox my body - never tried it before. I am using the Fasttrack Detox method by nutritionist Ann Louise. I will consume liver loving and colon cleansing food for 7 days, fast a day and finish with a three day phase. It is short enough not to get bored and I love the rational behind it. I will be posting a daily blog as I go. I haven't seen a new thread or team on this one since 2009.
Summer is going by so quickly. The days are getting shorter. The good new is my garden is really taking hold and I have enjoyed many fresh greens and herbs, strawberries, and onions. Time for the real veggies to appear.
Take care and stay focused. My each day a happy wonderful one! 1930 days ago

Happy June! Been away from SPARK for awhile due to life's busy chores. In the last three weeks I have: gardened, gardened, gardened. the rainy weather made the grass grow so much, I had 8 new rose bushes, annuals and perennials to fool with and weeds, weeds, weeds. My Son graduated from high school and ALL the family came in. I did ALL the cooking for a whole week which meant groceries, cooking, cleaning, and starting all over again. Plus, the house needed to be in tip top shape. Have I made you tired yet? Training for that marathon was a priority. I kept up with it and the big day is Sunday. 26.2 here I come. SPent the last two weekends up at the cabin. Boy is there snow and no internet. Trying to fit in laundry and household while working during the week makes it hard. Now that I have complained....how are you doing? I hope all has been going great and you are on track with all you goals, dreams, desires, and plans. I hope to go back through your blogs and reward your success. Take Care and thanks for being my friend! 1970 days ago
