A Fresh Start!

I've struggled with weight my entire life like a lot of people. I want to change my life to glorify my Heavenly Father. I have not been doing that in this area of my life, eating. I know that with God help, nothing is impossible.

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
Philippians 4:13

I used this verse once before in quitting a habit and I need it again. I'll be praying more to help stop the cravings.

I've done horribly in losing weight. I'm almost back up to when I first started sparks. I'm so disappointed, but I starting again.

Tips to beat that summer heat!
1. Exercise early morning or later in the day.
2. Hydrate! Increase your fluid.
3. Ditch the salt: Watch anything with sodium including soft drinks.
4. Summer fruits and veggies are plentiful. Enjoy some new ones!
5. Pop yogurt in the freezer for a cool treat.
6. Fruit smoothies: use frozen fruit in a blender for a great smoothie. You can add a little ice or milk to taste.
