I've been an overweight woman my whole adult life. In 2002, I went on a trip, and during that trip, I realized that if I slipped or fell, that I'd probably break my hip. That was at 300lbs. Today, I'm under 200lbs, after a lot of hard work, but I still need to lose much more. A co-worker suggested this site to me, and I'm pleased with how the site works, and how I can track all kinds of information, all pertaining to a healthier lifestyle (and a thinner me).

My Goals:
Lose weight so that I am under 200lbs for at least 6 months. (DONE!)

Get to 150lbs.
Get to 140lbs.
Get to 135lbs and hold that weight for 6-12 months, and plan skin removal surgery.

I just read about Talbot. I saw you in the Girlies Daily Check In. So I came to your page. I am so so sorry for your lost. I can't imagine the pain your are feeling. I just lost my sister in July, suddenly. Her cancer had returned with a vengeance. She died just a few days later after finding out. But she didn't die from the cancer. She had an aneurysm. We were best friends. She was my husband friend as well. So we were both crushed. I catch myself speaking of her as if she is still here. She is here in my memories and heart. I hope we both can heal. I wouldn't know what to do without my husband. Today, is our 43 anniversary. I worry about something happening to him, especially after my sister died. Hugs! Many hugs! I hope you find some calm.

Of course there are questions. lol

- How do you plan to track for a buffet? (I'm horrible at this)
I estimate, and usually on the high side, or it will be one of the days I'm not tracking. But usually anytime I eat out I have to estimate. :)


- Do you really like jogging? Still? (Masochist!! LOL)
Right now? Hell NO!!!! I fricken HATE IT. :) BUT, I love the idea of jogging. We are doing a zombie run the end of the month and I want to be able to jog to avoid them. Also, I have the zombies run app, and even voice only, I don't want the zombies to catch me. :)
I remember how I felt jogging through the woods. I want that high. I want to know that I CAN.


- Do you find it feels funny to talk to yourself in the mirror when talking to your inner child?
Yes, BUT I have found it really helps. The first several days I started crying. Now, a week later, I'm starting to feel confidence again and can say it with a smile on my face and no tears.
I made a chart with these things on it to track daily. Thinking about posting the pic and blog to show how I'm doing. :)
