I've done it!!!
I started this journey almost a year ago. I was disgusted and upset that I had gained most of the weight back that I had worked so hard to lose three years prior. My stress level was high and things in my life were not going well, but I decided to try again anyway. I was surprised at the age of 55 I could lose weight as easily as I did. I did cardio 3-4 times a week and have faithfully counted my calories on Sparkpeople. I also decided to do more muscle strengthening. I have ...
I started this journey almost a year ago. I was disgusted and upset that I had gained most of the weight back that I had worked so hard to lose three years prior. My stress level was high and things in my life were not going well, but I decided to try again anyway. I was surprised at the age of 55 I could lose weight as easily as I did. I did cardio 3-4 times a week and have faithfully counted my calories on Sparkpeople. I also decided to do more muscle strengthening. I have pushed myself physically to do more. My goal now is to keep the weight off and continue to do cardio and strengthening exercises. I know that this time I cannot go back to sitting around and eating junk food. I know there is still that part of me that lacks self control when it comes to food. I know that is will be a challenge and I will have to remain diligent.
