My Goals:
My long term weight goal is 170 lbs. (that's 120 lb loss) and ability to walk several miles at a time.
My mid-range goal is 200 lbs. and active.
My short term goal is the next 10 lbs. and walk today.
I want to lose weight because
1) I feel crippled and old and I'm not
2) I want to be healthier and in better shape to do the things I want to do
3) I like pretty clothes

Personal Information:
A few years ago I took a leap of faith and committed myself to a person who loved me for years.

We had almost exactly two years together. We left too much undone and now it is too late.

On June 5, 2014 he went to the doctor with back pain and less than a month later he was dead of lymphoma.

The deadly black depression he helped me through threatens again.

Other Information:
I like to spend my days catching up on old TV shows and movies on Netflix and Hulu while working embroidery, knitting. or other handwork. I read cozy mysteries, science fiction, and cookbooks (sometimes all in the same book!). I'm a gamer girl and virtual world advocate. Molly, my sweet long-hair dachshund, loves me even when Iím in a bad mood. Henry, my bad-tempered cat, likes to sleep in my lap while I read.

Thanks for the comment about the changing made to the teams. No, you are right, there is no HUDDLE any longer as we knew it. Just go to the main page of the team, and on the wall, post your greeting as you would normally do on the huddle. How the point system is figured for this I do not know. The main thing is to always go to the main page of the team and keep and eye on the wall. I believe that's where we will learn of blogs, etc that used to be entered automatically. Now we probably have to do it ourselves, but I'm not sure on that.

Granted, any time a change comes about, it is hard to get used to, and our first reaction is to dislike it. But we have no choice but to give it a chance. You can be sure that my members' viewpoints will be passed on to those who are in charge though, for what that is worth.
