I need to Get Back On Track!
Sigh...I would love to say that my weight loss and maintenance plan is going well. However, it's not. At the beginning of July I got sick and was not able to go to the gym. I am still not able to return to the gym and I'm beyond frustrated. I like to eat...a lot...and without the gym I cannot burn off the calories I'm taking in.Running is not enough. So between not being able to work out like I was, eating like a pig, and some medication changes, I have gained 20 pounds in just a couple ...

I needed to put it out there though so you can hold me accountable. I have to get back on track...NOW!

My Goals:
I would like to be able to walk down the street and not get winded. I want to have enough energy to keep up with my son. I want to lose 50-60 lbs! I am on track to reaching my goal. I still want to lose 10-20 more pounds but I'm not as concerned about the scale as I am the other numbers. I have 3 pounds to go! And some serious toning...especially in the tummy area! I am super excited to have accomplished so much! I look forward to the road ahead and discovering new and wonderful things to keep being fit fun!!! I just signed up to train for my first 5k! I'm super excited and extremely proud of how far I've come. I can't wait to see how far I can go from here!
My Program:
I am in the Montgomery County Road Runners Club and I am doing their 10k training program. We run 3 days a week. I am dealing with chroinc pain so I have been unable to keep up with my gym schedule. I am hoping to return to the gym very soon!
Personal Information:
I am from the Washington, DC area. I have lived in this area since I was 4. I like the area but my heart is in NC, which is where I was born.
Other Information:
I'm still running except now I dealing with major shin splints. My run last night hurt miserably so I'm taking it easy until my next race which is November 4.
