I live to laugh. Laughter and positivity really can help you through those pain-filled days, along with Spark pals and loved ones.

I have a rare disease (Erythromelalgia) that affects my life daily, and has sent me into a funk for far too long! I joined Spark in April of 2011 and LOVE the support and resources. I will get back my healthy life, no matter what illness I live with.

My Goals:
1. Live for each day. TRULY. You just don't know when your health will wander off to some secret place. Note to self: find out where it went!

2. Get my emotional eating off my mind and re-learn better behavior around food. Update 9/6/11: Still a day to day battle, but I have tools and Spark friends to FIGHT!

3. Cheer on anyone who needs it. I'll bust out some virtual pom poms and try to motivate you since I am getting support from Spark myself! Woo Woo!

4. Run in the rain with a healed foot - woohoo!

My Program:
I work out 5-6 days a week (currently) via low impact/no impact exercises with my EM and CRPS, and try to not push both into red line pain for me.

I stick to a healthy low refined carb, low sugar, low fat and high protein lifestyle for 6 days a week and try relax a bit on Saturdays.

"Digging deep", is indeed a good thing. When all about are pummeling us with all kinds of garbage, sometimes I have to go deep to channel my core and reminding myself of what I'm trying to accomplish.

I am also happy I caught myself in my own tracks before spiralling even more out of control. Over cheating on cheat days is defiantly a common culprit & a total bummer when you realize that you're finding it slightly harder to breathe in your yoga pants.

I don't know what's available in your neck of the woods, but there is alot of resources here for yoga & how it improves different ailments. I follow a really inspiring woman on Instagram (beachyogagirl) who has fibromyalgia & she blows my mind that fact she can do what she does through all of the pain.

Yo've got this girl! here's to project yoga pants...(or just pants in general haha)
