I live to laugh. Laughter and positivity really can help you through those pain-filled days, along with Spark pals and loved ones.

I have a rare disease (Erythromelalgia) that affects my life daily, and has sent me into a funk for far too long! I joined Spark in April of 2011 and LOVE the support and resources. I will get back my healthy life, no matter what illness I live with.

I'm hoping to stay active regardless, get my toosh moving, and hopefully inspire others as ...

My Goals:
1. Live for each day. TRULY. You just don't know when your health will wander off to some secret place. Note to self: find out where it went!

2. Get my emotional eating off my mind and re-learn better behavior around food. Update 9/6/11: Still a day to day battle, but I have tools and Spark friends to FIGHT!

3. Cheer on anyone who needs it. I'll bust out some virtual pom poms and try to motivate you since I am getting support from Spark myself! Woo Woo!

4. Run in the rain with a healed foot - woohoo!

My Program:
I work out 5-6 days a week (currently) via low impact/no impact exercises with my EM and CRPS, and try to not push both into red line pain for me.

I stick to a healthy low refined carb, low sugar, low fat and high protein lifestyle for 6 days a week and try relax a bit on Saturdays.

Hi Bren, thanks for commenting on my blog.. I always appreciate your support! Yes, I find the journal really helps me to keep all kinds of important notes and information for my journey, and it's usual book size.. not too big or bulky so it's easy to carry with me if I need. It's easier to collect useful information that inspires me than to have to go back and sift through books and articles to find what I need! PLUS I have to admit, I just love the feel of a beautiful leather covered book... I love flipping pages... I DON'T like those electronic devices for reading books... Nooks, etc.. Give me a good book in my hands any day! Don't worry though... I will still blog... I love to blog... just always depends on how busy I am. Have a great day, hon! Hugs to you and Olive! emoticon
