Hi there! Came to your page through a challenge on my 10000 steps a day team. I love your background, it is really pretty. Are you still active with Spark, if so, how are things going?

Hi Julie, Thanks for stopping by my page and for the encouragement. I feel like I am making progress but it's a continual process. We're making lifestyle changes!

That's cool you were in Seattle! Do you have family here? We do like Maple Valley, but enjoy the city sometimes. It's a challenge with Sparks when you're out of town, unless you have a laptop (and extra time).

Keep in touch! Jem

Hi Julie.

Thanks for the comment on my page. Yes, I also admire working moms who do it all - I don't feel like I'm really in that category any more, since my girls are grown, and doing things on their own. They're both still living at home, but in college and working. Things have certainly gotten a lot easier in that respect.

Finding time is always going to be a challenge for me. It's so easy to sit down on the couch after I get home from work, and suddenly find that the sun has gone down and I have nothing to show for my evening. It's definintely important to continue to make priorities and keep focused on my goals!

Thanks for adding me as your friend, and I plan to look to *you* to reciprocate that inspiration thing!
