My weight has been going up and down since I was 16. Last summer I gained nearly 20 kilos: I was overweight and feeling really uncomfortable in my own skin. In August I decided I needed to stop the yo-yoing for the sake of my mental and physical health. I told myself that getting a beautiful body I could feel proud of was a priority in my life, something I had to do for myself.
It's been almost 10 months since and I'm 6 kilos away from my goal weight. I feel energetic, clean and healthy and I've gained a lot of confidence. I've learned that if you want to achieve anything in life the key is being slow, persistant and creative.

My Goals:
In brief, I want to get down to 54 kilos and mantain this weight by eating healthy (no diets) and regular exercising.
-75 kg before college starts ( 28/09) : done.

-Start running : done.

-Having become 100% vegetarian by the time sophomore year starts: done!!


My Program:
-EXERCISE 5-6 days a week. Cardio (cicling/ running/ other) + strenght training.

-Learn to allow myself to eat when hungry in order to avoid binge eating.


-Record weightloss in my journal.

I’ve belonged to a lot of teams here on spark-- i really do believe that the Emotional Eaters team is one of the very best, it’s a great group of people- very supportive and encouraging-- and it is very refreshing to talk with people who "get" what you're going through!!

Check out the main page of the EE team- there are “stickied” topics you may be interested in to get involved- a buddy thread, a place to introduce yourself, weigh-in challenge, a birthday post.

Spark has a lot of great tools, and you will learn which ones work best for you. The best tools are the people tho, always willing to lend a hand, an ear, or a shoulder. I’ve been here for over a year now, and I still am overwhelmed, every day, by the kindness and goodness of others on this team!! That has made a world of difference for me.
