Aug. 9. 2012 - Hello, again, Spark Friends. I'm back after being MIA for a few/several months. I'm 65, divorced and retired. I have 2 sons. Jim is 43, a college graduate and has the afternoon gig on a PA radio station. Michael was 11 wks. old when he died from SIDS in 1973.

I continue with my volunteer work at the Veterans' Home 3 afternoons a week now. Right now, I have to force myself to go. But I've met wonderful people - both residents and visitors plus staff. And last week, I was able to resume donating blood. That always makes me feel good to be able to do that.

I'm struggling right now and can't even explain how I feel. I've seen my son and his girlfriend recently so it's not that. I've regained my lost weight and then some but I've joined a diet club so it's not that. I just don't know. I'm going back to my therapist beginning Tuesday; hopefully, together we can figure me out. I'm trying to stay positive. I hope all that read this are moving forward in good ways. Take care.
