I am 33, Scottish and recently married.
This is a picture of me walking down the aisle on my wedding day.
I have always been overweight, but I have put on more since I got married!!!!
I would like to maintain a healthy lifestyle, reduce my blood pressure and stay motivated to eat well.
Sparkpeople is a lovely website and I like using it to keep me motivated and find out how other people are getting on with their weight loss.

My Goals:
Lose weight to get to a healthy weight.
Find healthy and tasty things to cook for myself and my husband.
Reduce my salt intake.
Enjoy my life without feeling guilty about putting on weight.
Move more!

My Program:
I avoid sugary things as much as possible.
I limit takeaways.
I go to Zumba on Monday nights.
I go for walks on my lunch break at least three times a week.
I eat porridge for breakfast which keeps me full until lunch.

I am the one who wrote about skipping lunch.... Did that prove helpful to you long-term? I am starting to do it again on some days...
