That butt won't get any smaller by sitting on it...

I'm 31 years old. I've been chunky for a good deal of my adolescent and adult life. I don't want to be chunky anymore. I am an emotional over-eater, binge eater, and a foodie, which makes for a BAD combination. I do not want to be skinny; I want to be fit. I want to be healthy. I want to fit into clothes.

I like fitness, I just hate not being motivated. I enjoy step aerobics, yoga, pilates, swimming aerobics, ballet, tap dance, hiking. I'd love to learn boxing, kayaking ...

I'd love to learn boxing, kayaking (which I've done twice and crave more!), surfing, indoor rock climbing (which I tried recently! Woo!), and breaking dishes. I'm always looking for inspiration and motivation!

On June 13th, 2010, I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BA in Theatre; Minor in History (women's/gender studies focus.) Since achieving this milestone, my goals have changed. I want to enter a Master's Degree program in nutrition to become a Registered Dietitian.

Totally feeling you about this WIND!!! Not because of allergies, I haven't developed any of them yet.....but because it's ripping the heat right out of the air! Ugh, the temperature on the mountain can change drastically by ten degrees! which it was more on the warmer side :P

School must be almost over~at least as far as the semester goes ;) keep pushing it.....you can do it......hhahaha, it's almost over! Hope you have a great rest of the week Jill!

Well, I did two of three rounds before I had to stop, so did 20 minutes of ST and 10 of stretching. I think today will be the treadmill for a fast walk. I did track food yesterday, so it was an all around good fitness day :)

Good luck getting in your treadmill time!

Your comments always make me laugh! :D Believe it or not, last week while I was struggling to walk on it even, I had long lingering thoughts about cutting it off. I'm gonna change things up after my run and give my knee a long time to heal before trying my luck at half marathon distances again.

Yesterday, I did about 20-25 minutes of yoga before the phone rang. I haven't added up all of my calories yet, but I'm guessing they were somewhere around 2000. White Russians are deliciously caloric :)

Today, I'm going to do a 30 minute Nike workout before heading to work at the restaurant. Days at work there it's really hard to motivate myself to work out.

I understand what you mean about getting back to it after a rest day -- that's one reason my plan is to do 30 days in a row (even though sometimes the exercise will be stretching).

There will be pictures of the garden. In fact, I've purchased a domain name and plan to set up a site to document the stuff we do there. I think we all dream of having a booth at a market or something like that someday.

Yes, they've extended my contract another two months. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful I'm still working. but, I'd be a lot less anxious if something perm would turn up.

continuing to stay positive, so I have made it a year now.

Oh, I never understood how college textbooks could make the most interesting subjects as dull as dirt.
