That butt won't get any smaller by sitting on it...

I'm 31 years old. I've been chunky for a good deal of my adolescent and adult life. I don't want to be chunky anymore. I am an emotional over-eater, binge eater, and a foodie, which makes for a BAD combination. I do not want to be skinny; I want to be fit. I want to be healthy. I want to fit into clothes.

I like fitness, I just hate not being motivated. I enjoy step aerobics, yoga, pilates, swimming aerobics, ballet, tap dance, hiking. I'd love to learn boxing, kayaking ...

I'd love to learn boxing, kayaking (which I've done twice and crave more!), surfing, indoor rock climbing (which I tried recently! Woo!), and breaking dishes. I'm always looking for inspiration and motivation!

On June 13th, 2010, I graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BA in Theatre; Minor in History (women's/gender studies focus.) Since achieving this milestone, my goals have changed. I want to enter a Master's Degree program in nutrition to become a Registered Dietitian.

Hi Jill. I have just been reading through some of your old blogs, and seen your vlog. It was lovely to meet you. I was so struck by how hard things have been for you, and I'm sure I've said it before, but it makes me realise how bloody lucky we are here with the NHS (National Healthcare Service), which is free to use, although we do pay an amount called National Insurance through wages to help fund it, and some of our taxes are spent on health too - but it does mean that we have access to whatever we need (apart from dental, that has been privatised largely, and the British reputation for bad teeth is becoming well deserved!)

I hope that things are better for you, and that you get to where you want to go. I am bowled over by your hard work and dedication to your educational and work goals. You deserve so much to succeed.
My fiance was in San Diego a couple of years back, and said how beautiful it was. We might visit one day, as they have discounted rates for military personnel with a reciprocal arrangement, if we ever make it, maybe we can time it for a SP conference!

Slight bummer on the college update, but think definitely better off taking the W.....don't kick yourself over it! I have been where you are now, and you will feel better about it in the long run. :) stay positive!

I agree that not everything has to have some deep purposeful meaning. Sometimes things are just fun ...because they are fun. (By the way, I am responding to a comment you made on a blog...errr....vlog of mine.)

But man, you would think that I would at some point or another have at least ONE Sparkalicous thing to say!

Hi-there is plenty of bottled water available in China, its what everyone drinks when they want water. They mostly drink tea, made with bottled or boiled water. The beer is surprisingly mild and light and tasty. In huge bottles and served in tiny juice-size glasses.

Thanks for the Friending thing. I figured since I keep seeing you on Smiling Tree's blog we should say howdy.

So I came to your page, poked around. Normally what I notice is that people who become friends of other people ... have several friends in common. But what I noticed is that our common friend is really Smiling Tree.

Which in a way is kind of cool ...because that will also open up things for both of us to make even more friends.

Anyway...nice to finally meet you!
