I am a 49 yr old breast cancer survivor (7 yrs cancer free!) and I have slowly put on 20-25 pounds since my treatment and abrupt menopause. I am an avid gym rat, but also an emotional eater. I want to get my compulsive eating issues under control and lose weight at the same time.

Oh my gosh! First, congratulations on running the 5K!! emoticon Was it your first? I didn' t know you were running. Next, thank you for your good thoughts and wishes; I'm up early this morning and feeling fine. I do feel better up than down. Have even walked around the yard a little; but will be staying close to home for a day or two. Yes, being in good shape has made a difference; I felt like I impressed the heck out of them at the surgery center! I've really appreciated the muscles and not needing help getting up and down. Have a great day! Joy
