My Goals:
New Goals - 3 years later since I last did goals here and my outlook on healthy life style is a lot more realistic than they were 3 years ago. Boy was I naive. 2 years ago is when I REALLY started my journey and I have achieved sooo many of my goals. My goals today (4-12-13) is to loose 10 pounds by the end of summer. I am already down 30!!! After that I don't think it will be hard to maintain because I am in the gym 4 days a week faithfully and I want to inspire and encourage others to achieve their weight loss goals...The right way through hard work and determination. Operation Ab-Normal Old Goals- My goals. There are so many goals I have I will just stick with my health for now. I want to get into the habit of working out at LEAST 4 days a week. My Program:
The biggest part of my program is eating healthy because without a healthy diet non of the other stuff really matter. My training consists of weight training - lots of squats, lunges and step up for legs and a variety of arm workouts. I increase my intensity and weights every 4 to 6 weeks. Cardio is another part of my training. On the day I weight train my legs, I prefer to do low impact cardio. The days I weight train my upperbody, I go for the stair master, jump rope or something more high intensity. Mixed in with with cardio and weights I also focus on abdominal excersise. I believe in rest days after 2 or 3 days of high intensity workouts. Every 8 weeks I take a week off to let my body rest and fully recover. Personal Information:
I am a full-time worker and a full-time single mother. I am extremely driven, motivating, competitive and compasstionate, along with a lot of other great qualities. I try to be as worry free as life will let me.
Other Information:
I LOVE to dance. Dance is my sport of choice and I incorporate that in my workouts as well. As a tradition for my family, every Saturday and Sunday morning when the kids and I wake up. I will blast some fast paced music and we will dance and clean, dance and cook, eat our breakfast and dance some more. Music is a big part of our life and we listen to EVERYthing from classical to hip hop to country and R&B. When you are a dancer there are NO limits to the music you learn to love.
