Jill - KY Momma

I'm a working, conservative Christian, wife and mom of two girls. I've decided losing excess weight would help me keep up with my daughters and set a better example for them as well. I often struggle with weight while watching my thin, athletic, twinkie and ice cream eating husband keep within ten pounds of his high school weight.

Courageous doesn't start til Friday but I went on line yesterday to see the times of the showing and the 10 AM showing is already filled. I wonder if a church bought out that showing. So I will go at a later time. Taking my grandson. He is a dad so it should be good for him.

Well, I have to admit that I did reach my goal last October and then got out of control for a bit so am struggling to get it back again. It does encourage a person to watch the ticker move forward.

I can SOOOO relate to this! My husband isn't even that athletic, he just has a crazy metabolism. We have been living pretty much identical lifestyles for the past 10 years (until recently) -- I gained about 75 lbs since HS, he gained about 5, if that. I'm really proud of how far I've come (I'm within about 15 lbs of my HS weight now), but it's still frustrating.

Good luck reaching your goals!
