Let's make this the best OCTOBER ever. This is my TENTH Sparkversary, so thanks to finally finding a doctor who put me on Metformin, Armour Thyroid, and Bydureon, I've been able to lose weight, with about 20# to go yet. I fell and broke my femur right below my hip joint in June, so I have a titanium rod with screws My bone scan showed I have no osteoporosis. The doctor said my bone is healing but it is "not" healed, so I'm off for my third phase of Physical Therapy. They say it will take 18-24 months for my leg to be fully recovered. Only 20% of people who break their femur after age 60 ever regain what they had and I'm determined to be one of them.

Hello! I finally was looking through my emails and found your comment on my picture. I replied on the photo, about how my kitty is like yours. I wonder if that's how a lot of tuxedos are? Please check out my reply!

HI !! Ur post is just before the one I may post on (ought OH AGE !) the woman who plays the piano and has the picture of her at Carnegie Hall.

Not sure if you watch the program about the older people who AMAZING things in their 60s, 70's, 80's and YES 90's !!! I think it's called "Forever Young" on NBC. I'm in my late 50's and 2 or 3 weeks ago was a lady who's 91 and she was doing GYMNASTICS !! I did while in school and I'd LOVE to get back to it. My feet are a HORRIBLE MESS, but you know "NEVER SAY NEVER" or those men who carry the boxes WILL CATCH US !!

It's NOT to late to learn to play. NOT at all. If you live in an area where there's a gathering place and if it (or a VFW etc) ask if you can use theirs. Now a days money is not a problem for if you go onto youtube.com and put in "beginners lessons piano" or any such similar words or "easy songs for piano" you WILL find many!! I know, I have always wanted to learn the electric guitar and I finally bought one 6 yrs ago. Youtube is AMAZING at helping us. Than I wanted to learn yoga,,, some thing.

WISHING YOU THE BEST and REACH OUT for that dream ! That's why we call them "A DREAM" and not "AN IMPOSSIBLE DREAM" which is a GREAT song for you to learn.
