My reason for wanting to lose extra pounds is to get my figure back. I really want to look and feel as good as I did at 18. I also do not want my son to grow up and think his mom is fat, or have his friends tell him his mom is fat. If I can get my act together now, then hopefully he won't ever have to fight the overweight battle.

We have over a dozen new recipe threads as of Jan 2011 . . . so you can find and/or post chicken recipes on the Chicken Thread, and so on.

Check out the Weight Watchers Recipe Thread . . . I don't do WW but some of those looked really, really good when I posted them . . .

There are also diabetic recipe threads, vegetarian, etc. And we have a Pantry Challenge that is ongoing, join us anytime. Hope you are doing well on your SparkJourney; you can do it!

Hi. I am in Texas, not Chambersburg but I know there is a walking club in your area if you are interested in participating in local events on a regular basis. I do similar walks every weekend. We are not "fund raising" clubs, we are for fun, fitness and fellowship. Our clubs are family oriented and most events are baby stroller, and pet friendly. Our object is to keep a record book and collect a stamp for each event that we do. I've done over a 1000 of the 10K events in Texas and in 46 other states.
