One step at a time is enough for me. Impatience is simply a way of beating yourself up.
- Susan Jeffers

I will remember that I put this weight on, one bite at a time. It will come off the same way.

My goal then is to achieve a strong, healthy, reasonably weighted me!

It's easy to have faith in yourself when you're a winner, when you're number one. What you've got to have is faith in yourself when you're not a winner.
- Vince Lombardi

I will remember to cut myself slack on those less than perfect days, kick them aside, and forge ahead.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family too. Did I just read you have an ulcer? That stinks! No wonder you've been having tummy troubles! I don't know about you, but I may have to break down and eat like a "normal person" (my husband's words) on Thanksgiving !

Beautiful Woman Award! Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the wall of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out.

Loved your blog about dropping the damn towel. Thanks for the nice comment and encouraging words about my self-deprecation. I could weigh 125 and I'd probably find something I didn't like. I'm working hard at trying to feel better about myself! Sounds like you've been through hell with your back! I have on a ThermaWrap even as we speak. There's nothing quite like back pain, is there?

Thanks for stopping by my page - I'm sorry things are so wet for you back there. I hope you didn't suffer too much from the storm...

My son is off to college and my daughter started 5th grade... we are doing well-- thank you for asking!

Hang in there!
