Hello! I'm a junior in college and having the best time of my life. I love having fun with my friends and splurging whenever possible...but I'm realizing now how important our health is to our future.
Basically, I just want to start making strides to help improve my lifestyle (in this world filled with endless temptations) and I want to feel/be beautiful, healthy, and young inside and out. Although I am very outgoing, my self esteem is pretty low and it has impacted my life in many ways. My plan is to start this new health kick this new years (cliche, i know) and to STICK WITH IT!
I'm new at this whole Spark site so it would be great to have people to talk about it with so I can get into the hang of things! I love meeting new people and making new friends (what better way to get to know someone than by helping each other become healthier, better people??) so feel free to message me!

My Goals:
Lets just say there's a never ending list of thing's I'd like to be able to do in order to improve my life style..but i'll just take things one step at a time!

All together I'd like to get back in better shape like I was before college and have more energy and enthusiasm throughout the day. I'm hoping to get healthy (slowly..baby steps!) and stay that way in the future.


My Program:
Although I don't want to give up having fun at school and the partying life style, a few things I'd like to start doing are:
-walking everywhere on campus
-less munching and midless eating (especially after boozing)
-hit the gym 5 days a week
-eat healthier foods, and maybe lessen my carbs/sugar consumption
-find other ways to get enough sleep at night without relying on ambien haha

    I have some health problems that medications have caused me to gain weight along w/bi-polar & severe depression, so I might now how you're feeling! And, because of the weight gain, my self-esteem & self-confidence have went down the sh*tter! I used to be the most outgoing & bubbly center of attention & now I kinda just hang back & blend in...it sucks & I hate it! But I'm makin' progress in my loss & I have a whole new mind full on motivation & determination for the start of 2009!
