I am 38 and I am starting to feel better than ever! This is my 3rd go with Spark People since 2009. I love Spark People, it has been so helpful for my journey in weight loss. Back in the summer of 2009, I was diagnosed with asthma, come to find out it has been a lifelong problem. Well, since being treated for it I can say that I enjoy exercise and can workout harder than ever before. This is so exciting and new for me! Especially since I often missed out on sports and having fun while growing up. It was just too painful on my lungs. Unfortunately, I didn't exert myself enough to tell my parents I needed help. Obviously that habit continued up until 2009! I wish I could turn back time and been treated much earlier but I can't so I move forward.
I believe my biggest motivation are my beautiful daughters, whom I want more than anything to be happy and healthy. So, we want to lead by example both my husband (PASSHR) and I to show them what a healthy lifestyle looks like. I am enjoying every minute of it, this new me and how I am transforming every week is amazing! I have never had this kind of success or drive ever!! Thanks to Spark People, it's members and all it has to offer - YOU CAN DO IT!!

My Goals:
Lose initially 25 lbs by April 1, 2012 for my brother's wedding in Mexico

Start doing half marathons 3x's a year with first in Summer or Fall 2012

Be consistent on a day by day basis.

Don't freak out if I slip or worse let loose and pig out!


My Program:
Cardio 4 days at 45 min.
Favorite exercises:
Zumba
Cardio kick boxing
Elliptical
Walking Outdoors
Dancing at home while listening to MP3

Weight lifting - next goal to work on by aiming for 1-2 days at 30 min.

Log food and exercise daily with help of Nook...

Reading some of the Biggest Looser books for tips and inspiration. Also, watch the show for encouragement.

Talk to my husband about what I am doing each day and hold each other accountable

Changing habits one at a time, this time I have chosen to take smaller steps to keep from giving up or not feel overwhelmed!
