I've been gone for quite awhile from this account, but it's time to come back.

It's been quite a ride so far. Since last leaving this account, I had managed to lose quite a bit of weight. I went all the way down to 145 -- a normal weight for the first time in a long time. It was a long fight, but I felt I'd finally worked it out.

Then suddenly my weight jumped up about 10 pounds. I wasn't overly alarmed, but I brought it up when I went to see my primary care doctor. Shortly after, I was diagnosed as hypothyroid. At the time, people didn't know that hypothyroidism was a near sure sign of Hashimoto's, so I ignored it.

And then I gained another 20 pounds. I was about 175 pounds pretty steadily, but I still felt pretty good about my body. I was happy... I was dating after a failed long term relationship... I had no shortage of suitors to affirm my confidence. So I continued to ignore it.

Spark has a lot of great tools, and you will learn which ones work best for you. The best tools are the people tho, always willing to lend a hand, an ear, or a shoulder. I’ve been here for over a year now, and I still am overwhelmed, every day, by the kindness and goodness of others on this team!! That has made a world of difference for me. I hope you have the same success! ¸¸.•¨¸♥¨`*,¸.•*´¨`*• .¸♥.*.•*¨¸.•´¸.•*
